2/3/09 ~ 2/6/09 (Subject to change): Homework, Deadlines, Do Now & Notebook Contents

Attention all Families:
Progress Reports were given out in class today, Monday, 2/2/09.
  1. Please ask your son/daughter to show you his/her Progress Report so you can know their current standing in our class for this 4th report card term. (This is merely a working grade and will change greatly depending in his/her IWN grade and other projects we have coming up)
  2. If he/she received a C- or below in any or both of our classes, a signature from home is required.
  3. All progress reports need to be neatly sideways taped into students' TNB (general class notebook)
  4. If you have any questions/concerns about your son or daughter's current standing, please email me directly @ Ms.Pooner415@gmail.com. Please allow at least a day or two for a respone.

Tuesday 2/3/09

  1. Timeline Challenge III (Handout w/ questions 1-5 answered)
  2. Your Progress Report signed by a parent/guardian id you received a C- or below on one or both fo your grades.

Wednesday 2/4/09

  1. Make-up Quizzes @ lunch starting @ 12:10 p.m. sharp in Rm. 103 (Wherever you had a blank score on your progress report, this means it is missing)
  2. Geo. Challenge IV (Questions #1-8 and map colored & labeled correctly & neatly w/ colored pencils ONLY)
  3. Bring in an informational article about a topic that you are honestly interested in. (Remember, if you don't have an article, you will not only miss out on Homework points, but you will be assigned an article that Ms. Pooner finds interesting)


Thursday 2/4/09

  1. Spelling Packet 22
  2. IWN Check III (IWNs collected from all early birds who are helping to ensure that Ms. Pooner can relaxedly enjoy Shabbat this weekend by not grading on Friday evening to Saturday evening)

Friday 2/5/09

  1. IWN Check III (ALL IWNs must be turned in today. Remember, 10% is deducted for every day your IWN is late)
  2. Ch. 16 Quiz
  3. Ch. 16 Study Guide
  4. Spelling & Roots Quiz

  2. As for the Geography Challenge IV, Bella, thanks for drawing this to my attention. Since there are no direct instructions about how to color/ shade the map, this time around, as long as you've clearly labeled all that you need do, you do not need to color. =)
